NSW man to face court for embezzling $1.12m from company

A NSW man will face court for allegedly embezzling $1.12 million from his former employer.
On Saturday, NSW Police arrested a 45-year-old Erskine Park man over the alleged theft from a Marrickville company.
Police claim the embezzlements happened over eight years while the man was performing clerical duties with the company.
"Police were contacted ... after the company's director noticed a number of inconsistencies in the business's accounts," police said.
The man will face 41 charges in Newtown Local Court on December 7.
