Origin Blues team revealed: Five could make their debut

NEW South Wales coach Laurie Daley has named five debutants in an extended 20-man squad to take on Queensland in Origin game one at ANZ Stadium in Sydney next Wednesday night.

Penrith's Matt Moylan and Josh Mansour, South Sydney halfback Adam Reynolds, Manly's Dylan Walker and Dragons forward Tyson Frizell were all included in the squad, which has a number of players under injury clouds.

Exciting Panthers forward Bryce Cartwright has been included as a 'development player' and won't be considered for selection in the final team.

Josh Dugan (elbow) and Robbie Farah (concussion) will go into camp with injury concerns, while Eels centre Michael Jennings will need to get through Monday night's game against the Storm to take his place in the squad.

Halves Mitchell Pearce and Trent Hodkinson, and back-rowers Ryan Hoffman and Beau Scott paid the price for the 52-6 loss to Queensland in game three last year, by being dropped.

Reynolds and in-form Cronulla playmaker James Maloney make up yet another new halves combination.

NSW squad: Greg Bird, Boyd Cordner, Josh Dugan, Robbie Farah, Blake Ferguson, Andrew Fifita, Tyson Frizell, Josh Jackson, Michael Jennings, Paul Gallen, David Klemmer, James Maloney, Josh Mansour, Josh Morris, Matt Moylan, Adam Reynolds, James Tamou, Dylan Walker, Aaron Woods. Bryce Cartwright (development player).
