Pair of vehicles evade police officers in early hours

DALBY Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a pair of vehicles evade officers this morning.

The first incident happened at 2.10am, when police alleged a Mitsubishi Lancer with the licence plate, 357WSN, sped off on Dalby Cooyar Rd after police attempted to stop the vehicle.

The second incident happened an hour later in town on Coutts St.

Police allege they attempted to stop a ute, but after activating their lights and sirens, the ute sped off.

Police also allege the driver of the ute stole petrol from Freedom Fuels just after 4am.
