Paraglider's fall ends in injuries and rescue
AN injured paraglider has been rescued from rocks at Alexandra Headland.
Officers from the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services had to assist Queensland Ambulance Service officers in moving the injured man from rocks.
It is understood that he injured his back and possibly fractured his wrist during the fall about 3.20pm Saturday afternoon.
Early reports were that the man may have fallen as far as 10m.
The man has been taken to Nambour General Hospital for treatment.
