Pedestrian in his 70s killed in fatal Gold Coast crash

A MAN in his 70s has died after being struck by a car while crossing a road in the Gold Coast suburb of Burleigh.

Police believe the car hit him as he crossed West Burleigh Road near Bunyip St.

He died after being taken by ambulance to Gold Coast University Hospital.

Police are now investigating.
