THE first event of its kind for junior riders, Minimoto kicked off at Dalby on the weekend, Saturday, January 12 – the first of five events to take place in Dalby this year.

The two day event saw riders from Ipswich, Brisbane, Toowoomba, and the Gold Coast hit the track.

Organiser Mark Bowden said the Dalby Kart Track is the best he’s ever been too, with the most advance technology – helping the young riders to train to the best of their ability.

“The locals are super friendly too, I always enjoy coming out this way,” he said.

“It’s also really good to travel out west and give back what we can to towns struggling with drought – I always encourage people to fuel up and hit the shops locally.”
