PHOTOS: Giving back is the new fashion trend

IT WAS a love for fashion and previous experience running modelling classes that inspired Carmen Evans to combine two passion projects in the name of giving to those in need.

In collaboration with the Lions Club, Mrs Evans and her team at Helping Hands held a fundraiser fashion show on Saturday afternoon to show off the beautiful clothes available to those who need it the most.

From casual-wear to formal-wear for all ages, sizes, and genders, the fashion show exhibited clothes available from Helping Hands and Hearts of Purple, an organisation aimed specifically at assisting victims of domestic violence.

A number of market stalls also sold their goods on the day.

The funds raised from the day will go towards Helping Hands’ Christmas drive.
