Police bust woman driving allegedly double the limit

WEAPONS offences and impaired drivers were on the radar of Dalby police in a busy seven days of crime.

Weapons

Police were conducting patrols along Myall St on October 16 about 10.30pm, when there observed a 22-year-old Dalby man on the street.

After interviewing the man, they conducted a search and allegedly uncovered a flick knife in his possession.

He was charged with the unlawful possession of a weapon in a public place, and will face the magistrate on November 10.

Drink driving

A 27-year-old woman was intercepted by police along Wiley St on October 17 about 4.10pm.

They subjected her to a random breath test, where she allegedly returned a reading of 0.122, more than double the legal blood alcohol limit.

She will face Dalby Magistrates Court at a later date charged with drink driving.

Nearly two hours later on the same day, a 48-year-old Dalby man was intercepted along Dalby Cecil Plains Rd Dalby by police.

He took part in a roadside drug test, where he allegedly returned a positive reading for drugs.
