Popular chocolate recalled from Aldi stores

AMERICAN chocolate Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme is being pulled from shelves around the nation due to undeclared allergens.

The NSW Food Authority advised A & W Hollier Wholesale Distributors Pty Ltd has recalled the chocolate block from Aldi stores in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA and WA, due to the presence of undeclared traces of almond and wheat/gluten.

Specially, consumers are warned to not consume or buy remaining Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme in the 113g plastic wrapper variety with a best before dates of March or May 2018.

Consumers who have an almond and/or wheat allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.

The product can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.

If you are concerned about your health you should seek medical advice.
