THE Zonta Club of Dalby are holding a vital event raise money for their birthing kit initiative tomorrow night.

A special premiere screening of Ladies in Black at the Dalby Cinema has been planned, with everyone welcome.

Ladies in Black is a comedy drama about the lives of a group of department store employees set in Sydney in the year 1959.

It centres on suburban schoolgirl Lisa, who takes a summer job at the store working alongside a group of saleswomen who open her eyes to a world beyond her sheltered existence, and foster her metamorphosis.

Tickets for the event are $20 each and include a wine, nibbles and lucky door prize.

The event begins at 6pm at the Dalby Cinema, with the event starting at 7pm.

The Zonta Club of Dalby have had a busy 2018, highlighted by their hugely successful Butterfly Ball earlier in the year.

The group also completed their birthing kits in record time in 2018, with the aid sent to countries including Ethiopia, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Kenya and Papua New Guinea.
