Q and A with Ailee O'Shea
AILEE O'Shea is the third generation to work in the family business.
She loves country town life but had a blast on her trip to Nepal.
We caught up with her to find out what she gets up to away from the shop.
Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?
Melissa McCarthy
What do you think the greatest invention has been?
The coffee machine.
Do you have any lucky items, objects or traditions?
I can't go past a $2 scratchie.
I associate scratchies with family holidays when dad would come home with the morning paper and a bunch of scratchies to keep us kids occupied so he could read in peace.
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?
I wish I never grew out of my favourite Pumpkin Patch overalls.
I'd be happy if I could get them again in adult size.
What three things do you think of most each day?
What's for breakfast? What's for lunch? What's for dinner?
What's been the best decision you've made in your life so far?
Getting out of my comfort zone and travelling to Nepal.
What do you love most about where you live?
I love living in a small country town because it's easy to connect with the local people who are willing to offer a hand and come together in times of need.
What was your first car (or what would you like it to be)?
I would like my first car to be a Mercedes Sprinter Van. I'm saving madly.
The open road is calling.
What do you consider is the most important appliance in a house?
The hot water system. I grew up the youngest of three sisters.
We have the biggest hot water system in Australia for a reason.
What historical period would you like to live in if you could go back in time?
I'd like to kick it with Marty McFly back in the 1980s.
