A FAMILIAR face around Dalby, Nathan Berting is a man of many hats.

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

Hugh Grant or Colin Firth (both favourite actors of mine, too).

What do you think the greatest invention has been?

Coffee...

Do you have any lucky items, objects or traditions?

I have a very interesting small old doll in my bedroom that watches over me to help keep evil away.

Some think it's a little creepy.

Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?

Actual public holidays (shops closing) and good old fashioned manners.

What three things do you think of most each day?

Coffee. What can I do today that is better than yesterday? Exercise - What should I do today to stay fit and healthy?

What's been the best decision you've made in your life so far?

To stop worrying about what others think of you.

What do you love most about where you live?

Friendly people and the fact that you can drive anywhere within a few minutes, even on the busiest of days.

What was your first car?

First car was a Toyota Corolla.

I made lots of friends suddenly, which happens when you're in grade 12 and can drive with your own car.

What do you consider is the most important appliance in a house?

I would say a fridge as without a fridge you can't have milk and without milk I can't have coffee.

What historical period would you like to live in if you could go back in time?

1900's. would have been a totally different time, be interesting to see how things were done without technology.
