Preferences flows this morning have placed Mr Dametto on 14,320 votes compared to Andrew Cripps on 11,192.

There's only 2125 One Nation preferences left to count meaning it is impossible for KAP to lose the seat.

Labor's Mike Brunker has also conceded defeat in the Burdekin despite calling for a recount yesterday.
