RECAP: The Bachelorette S2E6 - the best date of the show

SO WE open with the guys grilling newbie Todd. Everyone's freaking out except for Sam. Because Sam's a boss.

Osher turns up, out of nowhere, as he does.

He's got a red date card. The boys are wigging out because they don't want Todd to get a single date.

YASSSSSS IT'S MR MAY. FINALLY. Finally Georgia is doing something smart for once.

Boys have a running joke that Cam's in the friend zone. That's knowledge to me. All because apparently he only "bumped lips" with her and didn't kiss her during the photoshoot.

OH NO SHE'S WORRIED ABOUT FRIEND ZONE. WHY GEORGIA WHY.

So it's a themed date. Why on earth does she insist on these godamned themed dates?

He brings up the friend zone thing, I guess maybe to sus out whether it's a friend zone thing or not.

Oh, magic carpet. OH NO IS SHE DISNEY THEMING THIS DATE.

There it is. Finally we've got a helicopter.

So they're going for a walk and Georgia's dress has HIGHHHHHH splits. I feel like she's gonna show us something we don't need to see.

HOLY CRAP THAT'S DALMATIONS. THIS IS THE BEST DATE EVER. IN THE WHOLE HISTORY OF BACHELORETTE DATES.

(Excuse me while I freak out over the cuteness).

Big, tall Cam with tiny puppies crawling over him is way too much for poor Georgia's heart.

One of the puppies tries to kiss Georgia and Cam is all like "get in line dude".

Rhys has found the group date card. Clue: "it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt". Whose job is it to actually come up with these clues? They're not very good.

Matty is complaining that he doesn't get to spend enough time with Georgia and SHE PICKED CAMERON AGAIN.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING GEORGIA. DROP HIM ALREADY.

Back to Cam and Georgia and they're on a sexy love couch. They're talking about kissing now and friend zone, please god Georgia kiss him please.

Yassssss she doesn't see him in the friend zone. Glad we got that cleared up. HURRY UP AND KISS HIM ALREADY GIRL.

Yes, thank goodness. I don't know what I would have done if that didn't happen.

According to Georgia, that was a "really good kiss".

And here comes the rose. Good girl.

Today's group date - team events of some random sports no one knows.

Sam and Todd are captains. According to Rhys, Todd picks the men and Sam the boys.

They're dressed up in ridiculous outfits for whatever ridiculous sports they're going to play.

International tour of stupendous sports. China first - dragon boat racing. What even is that? How is that even going to work? Oh, it's like tug of war in a boat. Weird.

Blue team wins. But poor Sam doesn't understand why they didn't win.

Round two is Turkey. National sport of Turkey is wrestling but they ohhhhhhh they oil up. YES MAN.

Off come the shirts and out comes the oil. Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Georgia helps them out of course.

Rhys talks about body image because of course he does.

Georgia is a good girl - and goes it for the women of Australia.

OH MY GOD IS THERE GOING TO BE A RHYS/SAM THING PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Oh man why on earth would they do that? Ew they're getting dirty. That's kind of gross.

Matt wins, but Rhys gets hurt. Oh man it looks serious. But he's okay. He drinks it off like a champion - from the trophy. That's something I haven't seen since uni.

Oh here's another single date. Everyone thinks Matty will cry if he doesn't get one. But oh he gets it.  It's his turn.

They're all happy for him.

It's another themed date. Georgia is crazy for these themed dates. But he's totally excited, croquet time! So they play for a while, Matty tried to impress her and they have a ball making fun of each other.

So now they've moved to talking about cocky and confidence and Matty's all like "what, I'm not cocky".

But they return to silly for a while before serious conversation comes back. OH MY GOD IT'S LIKE A HIGH TEA EAT THE FOOD WHY ARE YOU TALKING.

They don't waste any time get into the kissing. Georgia's glad he kissed her and for the second time this night gets a "good" kiss.

Oh, they're going back for more! But why didn't she give him a rose?

Georgia arrives at the beer party with Matty and all the boys are in awe of her beauty and jealous of Matty. Georgia steals Rhys away to check on his shoulder. Uh oh, does she know what she's getting into? She brings him a present, it's like a tie for your sling.

HE'S READING HER ANOTHER POEM. Quit with the poems already.

And the idea about the "boys" and "men" comes out again and she calls him out on it.

He's naming names. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh. Sam. Of course he was going to say Sam.

Oh what do the other boys have up their sleeve? What's happening?? Looks like whatever it is is happening now.

Mr May whips out the guitar. Turns out he can play and sings. It's kinda fantastic. And then Courtney throws pasta and they all start singing.

THIS IS AMAZING.

And she's lost it. If I was her I'd lose it too. That was hands down the best thing (beside the puppies) that's ever happened this season.

Matty gets his rose. Good.

It's down to Ryan and Matt. And Ryan goes home. That's okay, he's a bit boring.
