Reg Kay hit with more charges in live baiting trial

LEGENDARY greyhound trainer Reg Kay has had more charges tacked on the list of crimes he is facing over his alleged involvement in live baiting.

The 73-year-old had already been charged with two counts of serious animal cruelty. The matters are scheduled to return to court on August 19.

At Ipswich Magistrates Court today, Kay was accused of two more offences with additional charges for unlawful possession of restricted drugs and restriction on keeping or using taken protected animal.

The charges were adjourned to align with Kay's other matters in August.
