Rodeo ready to rock in Yamsion

EXCITEMENT is at fever pitch for tonight's Yamsion Rodeo, as the National Rodeo Association prepares to set up shop at the foot of the Bunya Mountains.

Famed country singer Mick Oberle has been lined up to perform late into the evening after the finest cowboys and cowgirls in the region provide the thrills and spills for the crowd's enjoyment.

The site has free camping and breakfast will be available tomorrow morning.

Tickets are $20 for an adult, $10 for 16-18 year-olds and free for children.

The event begins on at 4pm and will run until late. There won't be an ATM on site, so you must bring cash.

All money raised will go back into the Yamsion Hall.

For details, visit the Yamsion Hall Facebook page.
