Search is on for Dalby's best bikkie

GET your aprons out and your favourite biscuit recipe ready for Dalby's Biggest Morning Tea Great Bikkie Bake Off.

For the first time, attendees will have the chance to enter biscuits across categories of novelty, family favourite and kids' cookies.

Co-ordinator Barb Handley said the new competition was about giving the annual fundraiser a new face.

"We're just hoping to get more people involved and try to make it a fun thing,” she said.

Dalby's Biggest Morning Tea will be held on June 16 at Jimbour House, including food stalls, live entertainment, multi-draw raffle, lucky cuppa prize and fashion parade.

Nominations for the Great Bikkie Bake Off will be a gold coin donation. Present three biscuits on a plate with name and ingredients on the bottom and deliver to bikkie stall at the Biggest Morning Tea by 10am .
