PHONE book distributors Sensis have rejected claims by Lawrence Springborg that the service may stop deliveries in the future.

In a letter to the Warwick Daily Editor, Sensis says Mr Sprinborg claims were incorrect.

Sensis Director of Corporate Services Libby Hay said the Toowoomba directory was delivered in March this year and would be delivered again in March next year.

"We have an ongoing commitment to producing and distributing print directories in a considered manner to those who most need and want them," she wrote.

"We recognise it is a valuable resource used by many people in rural and regional areas to search for people and business contact details.

"Local charities remain an integral component of our distribution program and we are pleased to provide them with this opportunity to assist in their fund raising activities."
