Shots fired at home at Southport

POLICE are hunting the occupants of a white utility after shots were fired at a home at Southport in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police said that about 1.10am, the ute drove past a residence on Joden Place.  The occupant/s of the vehicle are believed to have fired a number of rounds into the residence.

Nobody was injured and the house sustained minor damage.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen this vehicle or who may have any other information which could assist in their investigations to contact Crime Stoppers via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au.
