Skipper had cannabis and meth in system while driving
A SKIPPER who was caught driving a boat under the influence of methamphetamine and cannabis was fined $450 in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Monday.
The court heard Paul Daly's boat was intercepted by a police vessel near the Swain Reef at 10.30am on August 4.
Daly, who represented himself in court, told Magistrate Cameron Press he was already looking for a land job following the incident.
Daly's marine licence was disqualified for a period of four months.
