SOUTHERN Star Academy of Dance is currently putting the finishing touches on what should be its most memorable performance to date.

The studio celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and founder Danielle Small is planning a unique show for the milestone.

"Every thing's coming along great so we are

really looking forward to Saturday,” Mrs Small

said.

"We've been preparing since September, so we're pretty excited.”

Mrs Small said the show would feature every age group and genre, and ensured it would be a

delight for the senses.

"We have a wide range of performances on Saturday including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary and musical theatre,” she said.

"We have our twinkle toe students, who are two years old, right up to our senior students performing.”

With the milestone in mind, Mrs Small has made sure that the history of Southern Star Academy of Dance is honoured during the annual end of year show.

"I think the performance in particular is going to be really entertaining because we are celebrating our 10th anniversary... so we've gone back and picked our favourite routines and memories from the last 10 years,” she said.

"It's going to be full of crowd favourites and really entertaining.

"Not only will we have our current students performing but we've also invited back past students to make a guest appearance, so it's going to be really special.”

Mrs Small was adamant the area would get a lot out of coming to watch our future leaders in their element.

"It's a great display of what our community can do, it's great to see our students participating and being active.”

Tickets are available online at www.ticketebo. com.au/southernstardance or at the door tomorrow night.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children.

Shows are on tomorrow at 11.30am and 6.30pm at the Dalby State High School Great Hall.
