Steve Price called a sex symbol
AND you thought Myer model Kris Smith was the eye-candy on Channel Ten's I'm Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!
Well, the good folk on Gogglebox Australia think otherwise, crowning his jungle buddy and Melbourne shock jock, Steve Price, as the show's breakout "sex symbol."
In the latest episode of the couch commentary series, which aired last night on Foxtel's LifeStyle Channel, housemates Angie and Yvie lead the lusty endorsement of The Project's most controversial right-wing panellist.
"I think Steve's sexy 'cos he cries!" 26-year-old Angie says, responding fondly to the broadcaster's weepy moment on the reality series, when he's filmed discussing his choice of charity, Carrie Bickmore's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer.
Biting her lip as she watches the emotional scene, Angie adds: "I love seeing men cry," with Yvie replying: "I know. It's so powerful, isn't it?"
"It's so sexy!" says Angie. "He's so beautiful!"

But it's not just the girls who are moved by Pricey's bumblebee physique, with five other Gogglebox households joining in to discussion.
"He looks like Mick Jagger," says Symon, sitting alongside his physiotherapist mate, Adam.
Yvie has a caveat on her compliment, commenting: "for a dickhead, he's quite cute."

As the Goggleboxers view footage of Price's jungle elimination, they all despair, especially across the generations of the Silbery family.
"Awwww… poor Pricey," says Isabelle Silbery, 31.
"Just when you started saying how cute he was," adds her grandma Emily, 86.
Other households need a little more convincing when confronted with the vision of vertically-challenged Pricey clomping his way across the I'm a Celeb suspended jungle bridge.
"God what is he, four foot high?!" guffaws Keith, to wife Lee.
"I didn't know people came that short?!" Tom says to partner Wayne, who says he's "got a new respect for him."

The Jackson family father joked at the radio star's expense, drawing a comparison between Price and Papa Smurf.
But Papa Smurf Price steams things up. Mum Kerry Silbery, 63, who fans herself down when watching Price, explaining that viewers felt they saw "the real" Price on the reality series.
"Maybe he has changed. He's had an epiphany in the jungle," she says.
The father of the Sri Lankan Australian family the Delpechitras has also become a member of the Pricey fan club.
"On the radio he seems like a tough nut, never gave others a chance, so it's nice to see him softening up," says Patrick Delpechitra.

Gogglebox Australia airs again tonight at 8.40pm on Channel 10.
