THE talents of art students at Dalby State High School will be shown off this week, when the school hosts its annual exhibition.

A Brush With Youth will have its opening night at Gallery @ 107 on Friday, with a piece of art from every student on display.

The exhibition will run until Thursday, November 2.

Friday night's event is free, with food and live music from the students enticing residents to attend.

Visual Art teacher Alison Roberts said the evening event was about giving praise to students who display wonderful talent.

"There is a whole cohort of students who have the opportunity to show off their skills and be praised for their efforts,” Mrs Roberts said.

"It is an opportunity for the community to come and see the work these students have been putting in all year.”

The opening of the exhibition will start at 6.30pm on Friday.
