Supercar launch day at airport

RED Bull Holden Racing Team are launching their 2019 Commodore Supercar at Dalby Airport on Sunday, January 6.

Australian motorsports icon Craig Lowndes will be on hand to show spectators just what the car can do.

"I'm really excited to start 2019 by launching the new Red Bull Holden Racing Team livery in the heart of Queensland,” Mr Lowndes said.

"Launching the new season in Dalby, with the amazing support of the Western Downs Regional Council and meeting the community there will be a great start to the year.”

The event will kick off at 11.30am with a DJ, barbeque, autograph signings, give-aways and, of course, the exhibition drive.

Western Downs Regional Council Mayor Paul McVeigh said hosting the launch is a great thrill for the people of the region.

"Motorsports is hugely popular on the Western Downs and I know people will be really excited to see Craig Lowndes behind the wheel of the new Red Bull Holden Racing Team car.”

"This is exactly the kind of event that makes the Western Downs such a great place to work and live.”
