Surfer spots 3-4m shark off Coast beach in baitfish frenzy

BREAKING: Surfers and swimmers have cleared the water after a 3-4m shark was reported at a Sunshine Coast beach.

Surfer Adam Landers spotted the shark as he surfed at Buddina, near beach access 209 between Talinga and Mungala Sts.

The sighting came in about 12.20pm, through the Dorsal shark reporting service.

"He wasn't sure what type of shark, but there was a lot of baitfish action in the area about 30 minutes before sighting," Dorsal administrators reported.

Surf lifesavers are yet to confirm any sighting.
