Syrian ambulance bombed, killing three: reports

THREE humanitarian volunteers are dead after an ambulance was bombed in Syria, according to reports.

Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) reported early this morning on social media that the bomb hit a vehicle used by the organisation's Aleppo branch in Syria's northwest.

A SARC leader was also injured in the blast.

The Red Cross have condemned the attack, calling for an end to violence on humanitarian organisations.

SARC operates under the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
