Table tennis begins in a new Dalby home

TABLE TENNIS: Dalby's cheapest sport has returned for a new season, and the club is hosting a month-long muster.

The Dalby Table Tennis Association began last week, and the club is welcoming new members.

Running for almost a decade, the club is wanting to rejuvenate itself with fresh new players.

Kim Bremner, president of the club, said table tennis was a terrific sport for all ages.

"We have started our new season at a new home at the Dalby PCYC,” Bremner said.

"We are inviting people to come and try out the sport.

"Table tennis is great for your reflexes and your mind.

"It is a game which improves not only fitness, but your mental skills as well.”

The club meets on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm.

The cost of the sport is $5 per session, with the first four weeks being social before competition games begin.

The club is open tonight at 6.30pm at the Dalby PCYC.
