Teenager trapped under car for eight hours
AN 18-year-old man has spent more than eight hours trapped after his car rolled on Glenbar Rd near Aramara on Saturday night.
Emergency crews were called to the scene about 6.30am on Sunday but it is understood the teenager had been trapped under his car since midnight.
It took firefighters about two hours to free the man.
Queensland Ambulance Service officer Lee Caulfield-Marsh said the man received crush injuries to his right arm.
The man was conscious throughout the rescue.
The man was airlifted by the RACQ Careflight helicopter to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
The injuries are not threatening.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
