
Three children injured in late-night two-vehicle crash
THREE children were among six people injured in a horror two-vehicle crash on Saturday night.
A Queensland Police spokesman said a Holden Commodore travelling towards Maryborough crossed Maryborough-Hervey Bay Rd at Nikenbah, where it collided with a Mitsubishi Pajero.
Police and ambulance services were called about 9.50pm.
The Pajero's five occupants sustained only minor injuries, while the driver of the Commodore was trapped in his vehicle.

The man was eventually freed from the vehicle but sustained a serious leg injury.
All six patients were transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit closed the road for about four hours to conduct its investigation.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
