Three crews respond to large Dalby fire

THREE fire crews responded to a grass fire in Dalby this afternoon. 

Dalby firies arrived at the scene on Sandalwood Ave following reports of think black smoke in the area at around 1.20pm. 

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman confirmed the fire was approximately 100 square metres, and crews responded by dampening the main part of the fire immediately. 

Crews left the scene by 2pm.
