BREAKING: Traffic has already backed up more then 1km on a Bruce Hwy interchange after a multi-vehicle crash.
Both lanes are blocked on the Forest Glen Maroochydore Rd roundabout over the Bruce Hwy after a car knocked into another vehicle towing a boat, which came dislodged and skidded to a stop on the road.

Traffic has come to a stop in both directions, with eastbound cars backed up past the Big Pineapple and a westbound queue assembling towards Kunda Park.
Reports are emerging that a motorist involved has fled the scene.
