Truck fire causes highway closure

QUEENSLAND Fire and emergency services responded to a call just before 6am this morning after a truck caught alight.
A spokesman for QFES said emergency services arrived to the vehicle on the Bunya Highway where they found the truck engulfed in flames.
“Emergency services were quick to arrive on the scene around 5.55am this morning,” he said.
“It took around 10-15 minutes for crews to extinguish the fire but the highway did remain closed for sometime to stabilise the area.”
