Two dead in Pacific Mwy crash near Eight Mile Plains
TWO people have died after a truck allegedly rammed into the back of a vehicle on the Pacific Motorway at Eight Mile Plains on Monday morning.
Police said they received initial reports of a vehicle travelling southbound on the Pacific Motorway, near the Logan Road off ramp, when it allegedly blew a tyre and was rear-ended by a truck about 10.20am.
Paramedics said two people travelling in the vehicle were pronounced dead on scene.

Three lanes southbound have been closed after a traffic crash that claimed the lives of two people.
Police said a third passenger of the vehicle was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries. The truck driver was not physically injured.
