Two injured in peak-hour Coast crash

Two people have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash at Buderim this morning.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the crash on Mooloolaba Rd and Sid Lingard Dr just after 8am.

One person was treated for chest pain and the other with an ankle injury. Both were in stable conditions.

‘Grow up’: Charges laid after car ploughs into cafe

Paramedics took one of the patients to Sunshine Coast University Hospital and the other to Nambour Hospital.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the crash appeared to be a nose-to-tail.

Firefighters made the scene safe until all vehicles were towed.
