Woman, 62, killed in crash near Boonah

UPDATE: A 62-year-old woman has died following a single vehicle traffic crash at Hoya on Friday.

Initial information suggests around 11.30am a car had rolled on Boonah-Fassifern Road.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

The woman was trapped in the vehicle, and while attempts were made to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

 

 

The police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Queensland Ambulance has confirmed that only one person was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

EARLIER: POLICE are at the scene of a serious traffic crash at Hoya, just north of Boonah.

Around 11.30am, police were advised that a car had rolled on Boonah-Fassifern Road.

One person was entrapped in the vehicle.

There are slight delays in the area, but no traffic diversions.

The Forensic Crash Unit will investigate.
