UPDATE: Eight-year-old girl in stable condition

THE eight-year-old girl that was hit by a ute on Saturday afternoon on Drayton Street is in a stable condition.

The girl is still in the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital after being flown by emergency helicopter to Brisbane after the accident.

The young girl sustained head injuries and a foot injury after being hit by the utility, and was taken to the Dalby Hospital via ambulance before being flown to Brisbane.

Dalby Police and the Forensic Crash Unit are still investigating the incident.
