Vehicle almost forced off Bruce Hwy in road rage attack

A MOTORIST is appealing for witnesses to a shocking case of road rage on the Sunshine Coast in which a vehicle was almost forced off the highway.

The incident occurred about 5.30am today between the two Nambour exits on the Bruce Hwy.

It is claimed that a gold AU Ford Falcon caused a crash and fled the scene, with one of the motorists involved appealing on Facebook for witnesses or dashcam footage.

"The vehicle will have a dint on the driver's side front end where they connected with the vehicle and almost forced the vehicle into the median strip in the centre of the highway," it was claimed.

"And yes, they have left their paint where they damaged the vehicle which police will look into."
