Vet worker dragged into torture case
A GOLD Coast veterinary worker, who also runs a stripper agency and sells skimpy lingerie, has been dragged into the investigation of the horrific torture of a Brisbane woman, after text messages allegedly sent from her phone were revealed in court.
Tiahn Cranney's mobile number was allegedly used to exchange messages with Brisbane man Jeromy Harris, who has been charged with torturing and holding Tanya Nicole Roberts captive in his Bulimba home.
A message allegedly sent from Cranney's phone to Harris on July 1 shows Cranney expressing concern about serious wounds, based on a description given to her by Harris via text.
"Shit. Its badly infected. How long is the wound?" Cranney allegedly asks, according to documents filed in the Supreme Court by Harris's defence team last week.
