
WARNING UPDATE: Flooding to continue in Dalby
UPDATE - 3pm:
Myall Creek at Dalby is expected to reach moderate flood levels (three metres) this afternoon as river levels continue to rise.
According to the BOM, water levels continue are still rising as of 1pm.
In case of an emergency, call triple-0 or the State Emergency Services on 132 500.
UPDATE - 7.45am:
The Myall Creek at Dalby peaked at 3.15 metres around 06:00 am Sunday 09 February and is currently at 3.10 metres and falling with moderate flooding.
The Myall Creek at Dalby is likely to remain around the moderate flood level (3.00 m) during Sunday morning as floodwaters continue to arrive.
EARLIER:
THE Bureau of Meteorology have issued a flood warning for Dalby after the Myall Creek hit capacity overnight.
The BOM estimates Myall Creek has hit 2.6 metres and is rapidly rising. It is expected to reach 3.5 metres and major flood level later this morning.
50-100mm of rain was recorded hitting the Condamine River since 9am on Saturday, and more rain is expected to arrive this week.
