IN AN attempt to reduce the number of unclaimed animals impounded in the region, the Dalby Herald has joined forces with the Western Downs Regional Council for Western Downs Pound Pets.

The initiative, which is featured every Tuesday, aims to find new families for animals the council is unable to reunite with their owners, and to promote responsible pet ownership on the Western Downs.

Contact Western Downs Regional Council customer service centre on 1300 268 624.
