WHOOPING cough has been reported at a Toowoomba school with health authorities called in to monitor the situation.

St Saviours Primary School in Toowoomba alerted parents to the case of whooping cough in its weekly newsletter.

Queensland Health distributed a letter to parents urging them to be on the lookout for symptoms over the next three weeks.
