
Woman taken to Coast hospital after snake bite
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital on the Sunshine Coast after reports that she was bitten by a snake.
Paramedics were called to a Marcoola address last night after reports that a women in her 40s had been bitten on the foot.
If you are bitten by a snake it is vital to stay calm. Panicking increases your heart rate & spreads venom around your body more quickly.

Ambulance officers arrived at Mudjimba Esplanade just before 8pm, transporting her to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
A spokesperson for Queensland Ambulance said they could not confirm what type of snake bit the woman.
