Woman taken to hospital with suspected snake bite
A WOMAN has been taken to Hervey Bay Hospital with swelling after suffering from a suspected snake bite.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the 25-year-old was taken to hospital with minor swelling.
Initial reports revealed the woman was unsure if she had been bitten by a snake or spider.
Two bite marks were found on the woman's wrist.
The ambulance spokesman said the type of snake was unknown.
The incident was reported at 10.30pm Tuesday.
